This two-room apartment is located in a quiet and peaceful area of Moscow. Its lucky owner is a young student who plays the guitar and is passionate about music. E.L.F. INTERIOR design studio, relied on Elena Gladkova (interior designer) and Anton Likhtarovich (photographer) to conceive this project, Polina Rozhkova and Yana Yahina (interior photo stylists).
The Russian designer, studied at Moscow Lomonosov State University and the International School of Design.
“I always think about the comfort of my clients, because they will certainly have to experience positive emotions while in their own home, so it is important to take into consideration all preferences of colors, textures, and textures, and it is also important to correctly plan the space. In my work, I am inspired by works of art, I love the fleeting mood in the paintings of the French Impressionists and the power of the Italian Renaissance artists, classical music and jazz, films by Andrei Tarkovsky and Ingmar Bergman.” – Elena Gladkova
The apartment consists of only two rooms, but contains the spaces of a more traditional apartment, kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom, but works in open space, since there is no wall dividing the kitchen from the living room, for example.
It is a young and modern residence, cozy and functional.
The harmony of all the elements chosen, such as textures, colors, inspirations and functionality, make this a very special apartment. The inspiration was based on this young man’s passion for music, and there are many decorative points alluding to music, both in the living room and in the bedroom.
Starting with the living room, which connects to the kitchen, where minimalist style reigns.
Very neutral colors were used in general, ending with some strong color details to contrast and balance the project. The use of straight and simple lines is also clear in this room, bringing a more modern and younger look as needed.
Opting for this type of project is not always easy, as the young person is looking for a little bit of everything in such a small room that has to be functional.
It has to serve as a dining, leisure and study space and, everything was very well achieved, each corner with its function very well represented. To do justice to her passion for music, Elena chose the lamp Botti Suspension lamp from DelightFULL.
Botti modern chandelier instantly takes us into a music concert starring Chris Botti. The mid-century lighting design was inspired by the American trumpet player as a tribute to jazz music.
With a structure handmade in brass and boasting a sophisticated gold-plated finish, this modern ceiling light showcases the high-quality craftsmanship for which DelightFULL is best known for. Its unique shape and design make it the perfect hanging lamp to display on a mid-century modern living room.
The room, in dark tones and dark wood contrasts with the ocean blue chair and the accompanying yellow light.
This simple room is composed of the sleeping area, her small closet, and the bathroom.
The world map on the white wall represents the dream of traveling around the world that is very present in young people’s mentality, the belief that everything is possible and that there are no barriers.
The gray brick wall takes us to the street, to the simplicity of life, to a more rustic side.
